Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Aircraft Maintenance Technician role located in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Aircraft Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing airframe and powerplant maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repairs.

Qualifications

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) licenses required
  • Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred
  • At least two years of hands-on experience with general aviation aircraft maintenance and repair required
  • Attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Compensation

Absolute Aero Maintenance offers competitive hourly pay and a generous benefits package:

  • Hourly pay range: $40.00 to $65.00 per hour based on relevant experience and ratings
  • Fully funded Anthem PPO medical insurance and DMO dental insurance for the employee
  • ShareBuilder 401K program with immediately vesting 5% company matching contributions
  • Two-weeks of paid vacation, with an additional day accrued per year of service
  • Seven paid Federal holidays per year
  • Regular working hours: Monday to Friday 0800 to 1630 with opportunities for overtime
