Our client, a US-based retail company, is seeking for Brand Manager. The Senior Amazon Brand Manager will be responsible for managing and growing our Amazon sales channel. This role requires a strategic thinker with a very strong background in Amazon sales and marketing (Amazon PPC), an analytical mindset, and a proven track record of driving significant revenue growth on Amazon. The ideal candidate will be adept at overseeing product listing management, optimizing advertising campaigns, and using data-driven insights to inform strategy, while working with a team to handle day-to-day tasks and implementation.

Responsibilities

1. Amazon Strategy Development and Execution:

  • Take responsibility for overall performance, including revenue and profitability on the entire sales channel, market, product category and individual SKU level.
  • Identify gaps and areas for growth and develop optimization strategies for product pages and storefronts.
  • Drive the implementation process for all optimization strategies.
  • Manage multiple marketplaces, ensuring growth in all markets.

2. PPC Management:

  • Oversee overall account daily, weekly, and monthly management.
  • Optimize bids and budgets on a campaign and product level.
  • Conduct ongoing keyword research to discover new opportunities and optimize search terms.
  • Track and expand keywords, ensuring effective performance.
  • Launch and optimize campaigns for existing products and new product launches in different Amazon markets (UK, DE, CA, smaller EU countries).
  • Perform creative testing for Sponsored Brands (SB, SBV) and
  • Sponsored Display (SD) campaigns.
  • Develop and manage weekly and monthly reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as spend, sales, ACOS, TACOS, CPCs, CTRs, and more.
  • Work closely with an agency that runs our DSP

3. Amazon Strategy Development and Execution:

  • Stay on top of best practices and new trends in the Amazon ecosystem.
  • Analyze competitors' activities to identify areas where we can improve or differentiate.
  • Assist with sales forecasting to ensure accurate inventory and sales projections.
  • Drive technical knowledge development both personally and within the team.

4. Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with the marketing, product development, and operations teams to align Amazon strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with external partners and agencies as needed.
  • Work directly with the Brand Director and Co-founder on strategy development and execution.
  • Ensure follow-through on tasks, take ownership of responsibilities, and be target-driven rather than task-driven.

5. Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze sales data, performance metrics, and market trends to make informed decisions.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, advertising effectiveness, and other key metrics
  • 5+ years of experience managing Amazon accounts with a proven track record of driving sales growth.
  • In-depth knowledge of Amazon Seller Central.
  • Very strong understanding of Amazon advertising, especially for seasonal brands like ours (sales spikes during Valentines Day, Father’s Day and Q4)
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools such as Amazon Brand Analytics, Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or similar.
  • Experience with Google Spreadsheets and working with formulas.
  • Proven experience managing high monthly budgets of up to $250k.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Amazon DSP is preferred but not required.

    Ideal Candidate:
  • Knows the ins and outs of the Amazon algorithm, including how products are ranked and what affects rankings.
  • Is very detail-oriented and proactive in coming up with new ideas and solving problems.
  • Keeps up to date with the latest industry trends by listening to podcasts (e.g., Seller Sessions) and watching YouTube.
  • Is passionate about building brands.
  • If they don't know how to do something, they will find out and enjoy doing so.
  • Is a clear and direct communicator.
  • Has strong leadership skills.
  • Is an easy-going and fun person to work with
