Analyst - US Mortgage Asset Management

We provide virtual business process services to various types of overseas clients, and this position is to be part of the team, which provides Asset and Portfolio Management support to USA client from Mortgage Finance industry.


RESPONSIBILITIES

v Draw Funding and Loan Modifications

  • Monitoring progress of Construction Loans, Managing Draw Requests and Verification of Reports and Funding, Handling Loan Modification requests, Reviewing and Analysis of Property Inspection reports

v Daily Loan Maintenance

  • New Loan Setup Audit, Review ACH forms for completeness, Quality Control Audit of new loans on-boarded in loan servicing system, Tracking of corrections, Tracking trailing documents
  • Billing / Payments, Maintain customer accounts in the loan servicing system, Post transactions – Payments, Fees, NSF payments, Update loans servicing system - Property Releases, Interest Rate changes
  • Review and Process Monthly Billing Statements, Process Payoff Letter Requests
  • Balance loan servicing system to accounting systems (general ledger accounts)

v Collateral Monitoring

  • Home Owners / Liability / Flood Insurance, Run Expired Report, Process Cancelations, Maintain Information in loan servicing system
  • Escrow Insurance & process as needed, Inform manager and others when insurance needs to be force placed
  • Property Tax Obligations, Monitor 3rd party Tax Reports, Maintain Information in loan servicing system, Escrow Taxes & process as needed, inform manager and others when taxes are delinquent

v Provide Non-performing loan (NPL) workout analysis services

  • Maintain summary of NPL loans on the platform, Track cost basis of all workout activities, Evaluate loan resolutions strategies (foreclosure, note sale, payoff)
  • Forecast future expenses, Work with US analyst on workouts, To be part of Client’s US Commercial mortgage loan servicing team

v Responsible for maintenance of orderly electronic collateral files and tracking chain of custody for all assets so loans can be pledged to our lender.

v Support to monitor financials and report on the performance against the initial underwriting.

v Prepare summary report on each property and update in excel model each quarter

v Need to work on financial updates to loan models for loans that require modifications or extensions and some other market monitoring.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 7+ years of US Mortgage loan servicing experience along with Team Management Responsibilities
  • Advanced Excel Skills like Pivot Tables, vlookups, hlookups, macros, etc.,
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, MBA, CFA, or any other Post-Grad Degree in Finance.


LOCATION: Work from Home, India

TIMINGS: USA Shift IST 5:30pm to 2:30am (EST 8am to 5pm)

SALARY RANGE: Best in Industry
