Do you enjoy delivering enhanced change capabilities across a range of business functions?<br><br>We're looking for an Associate Director, Data Engineer to:<br>• Analyze design, code, test, documentation, and other data-engineering artifacts. Transform data into valuable insights that inform business decisions, making use of the internal data platforms and applying appropriate analytical techniques. <br>• Prepare data and models to represent business information cleanly and accurately, applying industry standards, open standards, and internal standards where appropriate. <br>• Use data platform infrastructure effectively to engineer reliable data pipelines for sourcing, processing, distributing, and storing data in different ways. Understand and apply a range of data engineering techniques including data sourcing and modelling to stream processing and ML ops. <br>• Develop, train, and apply machine-learning models to make better predictions, automate manual processes, and solve challenging business problems. Ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of solutions by applying digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements. <br>• Build observability into solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues. Reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind. <br>• Participate in agile ceremonies, and collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and others. Understand, represent, and advocate for client needs. <br>• Deliver frequent releases that improve data products, pipelines, models, and services.
