Job Summary

Kids Smiles Dentistry is looking for a kind, reliable, and motivated Dental Assistant who enjoys working with children and is also open to helping with front desk duties when needed.

This is a great position for someone who wants to grow in a pediatric dental office and become cross-trained in both clinical assisting and patient care coordination.

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to make children and parents feel comfortable and welcome.

Responsibilities

Clinical dental assisting duties:

  • Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures
  • Take X-rays and Do prophy on our young patients
  • Prepare and clean operatories
  • Sterilize instruments
  • Help children feel calm and comfortable during treatment
  • Support the doctor and team with daily patient flow
Front desk / patient care duties:
  • Greet patients and parents warmly
  • Answer phone calls, processing payments
  • Schedule and Confirm appointments
  • Help with check-in and check-out
  • Verify insurances and basic patient information
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation within Denticon, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Spanish-speaking is a MUST!
  • Dental assisting experience preferred
  • Pediatric dental experience is a plus
  • X-ray certification preferred
  • Must be kind, dependable, organized, and good with children
  • Must be willing to help both in the back office and front desk
