Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Business Development Manager for a global, experience-driven travel organization. This is a remote role based in Arizona or Texas with up to 60% travel required across North America.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Business Development Manager serves as the primary relationship owner and brand ambassador within the North American travel trade market. This individual will drive partner engagement, grow account value, and expand market presence through strategic relationship-building and training initiatives. Working remotely, this role blends sales, partnership development, and industry representation to elevate brand awareness and drive bookings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with travel advisors and agency partners to drive engagement and bookings
  • Identify, onboard, and develop new trade partners across North America
  • Deliver virtual and in-person training sessions, webinars, and destination showcases
  • Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and partner functions
  • Track performance metrics, evaluate ROI on events, and recommend growth strategies
  • Support partner success by providing tools, insights, and ongoing communication

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in business development, sales, or account management (travel industry preferred)
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with strong organization and time management
  • Comfortable with travel and engaging in both virtual and in-person settings
  • Interest in international travel and curated experiences

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This role offers a base salary of $65,000 - $75,000, with additional bonus or commission potential.
