About Us

We are a fast-scaling startup in the electric mobility space, focused on selling and financing e-rickshaw batteries across India. Our mission is to enable clean, reliable last-mile transport by making battery access and ownership frictionless for India’s e-rickshaw drivers.

Our core teams span channel sales, D2C sales, inside sales, finance (underwriting), customer support, and data. We're looking for an Operations Manager to own execution, enforce discipline, and keep things moving — fast.

Role Overview

This role is built for a doer — someone who doesn’t wait for reminders, doesn’t tolerate missed targets, and knows how to get work done through people, even in tough, messy, real-world situations.

As Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for making sure plans turn into action. You’ll push teams to hit goals, close loops between departments, and solve problems without waiting for permission. You will run daily reviews, chase down open items, and ensure the company moves forward without excuses.

Key Responsibilities

⚙️ Drive Relentless Execution

  • Ensure daily/weekly/monthly targets are tracked and met across all teams (sales, finance, support, data).
  • Own the closure of all action items discussed with the founder — no drop-offs.
  • Push for accountability — chase open tasks, flag delays, and escalate where needed.
  • Drive strict process discipline: enforce SOPs, reviews, and internal SLAs.

🧠 Be Resourceful & Hands-On

  • Solve operational problems on the fly — unblock people, fix breakdowns, and keep momentum going.
  • Step in personally when needed — field visit, sales call, support follow-up, or data check.
  • Create basic systems (trackers, sheets, workflows) to make daily ops smoother.

🤝 Align & Coordinate Teams

  • Run tight daily/weekly reviews with sales, finance, and support teams.
  • Make sure everyone knows their goals and delivers on them.
  • Handle friction across teams with clarity and firmness.

📊 Reporting & Reviews

  • Work with the data person to ensure accurate and timely reporting to the founder.
  • Identify performance gaps or execution delays early and raise the flag with solutions.

Who You Must Be

  • 4–8 years of hardcore execution/ops experience in EV, logistics, lending, mobility, or similar industries
  • Proven track record of managing targets, teams, and timelines under pressure
  • Hard taskmaster — drives outcomes, not just relationships
  • Goal-oriented, resourceful, and impatient with delays or inefficiency
  • Not afraid to have tough conversations, enforce deadlines, and hold people accountable
  • Operates with a “Do it now” attitude — acts fast, fixes things, and moves on
  • Fluent in Hindi and English
  • Comfortable with field work, on-ground realities, and high-tempo environments

Red Flags (Do Not Apply If You Are):

  • A strategy person who avoids ground-level execution
  • Someone who needs daily hand-holding or reminders
  • Looking for a 9-to-5 comfortable setup
  • Unable to drive people hard or manage underperformance

What Success Looks Like

  • Zero lag in execution of founder-led plans
  • Weekly team goals met or exceeded
  • Clear ownership and accountability across functions
  • Problems identified and solved before they escalate
  • Teams aligned, but also driven and disciplined

Why This Role Matters

In a fast-paced startup, speed and discipline win. This role is mission-critical — you will shape how we scale, how fast we move, and how seriously we take execution. You’ll work directly with the founder, own the operating rhythm of the company, and become the internal engine that keeps everything running smoothly and at pace.
