The Opportunity: Architecting the Future of AI-Powered Patient Care


This is more than a product management role; this is an opportunity to be the clinical architect of the future of patient engagement. We are seeking a visionary clinical leader to spearhead the development of our AI-powered Precision Engagement platform and suite of patient engagement products. You will be the key individual responsible for ensuring our technology is not only intelligent but also clinically sound, safe, and deeply empathetic to the needs of patients and providers. You will translate complex clinical challenges into elegant, AI-driven solutions that guide millions of patients through their unique health journeys. You will define the clinical data strategy that powers our machine learning models, design the next generation of adaptive care plans, and serve as the clinical thought leadership for our product organization. What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities


Clinical & AI Strategy



  • Partner with Sr Director of Clinical Programs and Chief Clinical Officer to inform clinical vision and own clinical product roadmap, ensuring every feature is grounded in evidence-based medicine and aligns with our strategic goals.

  • Collaborate with data science, product, and clinical governance teams to define training data requirements and validation approaches to ensure our models and products are clinically safe, effective, and fair.

  • Serve as the primary clinical subject matter expert for the Product team, translating complex clinical research, care pathways, and unmet patient needs into high-impact AI use cases and product concepts.

  • In collaboration with a team of client and internal clinical experts, architect evidence-based clinical workflows, adaptive care plans, and intelligent escalation protocols that form the core of our Precision Engagement platform.

  • Stay at the forefront of health AI, evaluating emerging technologies like Generative AI and identifying novel applications to enhance patient-provider communication and automate personalized care.


Product Execution & Leadership



  • Lead a dedicated, cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, and designers, overseeing the full product lifecycle from ideation and prototyping to launch, measurement, and continuous iteration.

  • Design and optimize patient and provider workflows that are intuitive, reduce clinical burden, and integrate seamlessly into existing EHR workflows (e.g., Epic, Oracle Cerner) to become a trusted part of the care delivery process.

  • Lead through influence, guiding your team through ambiguous clinical questions and ensuring our products speak the language of care providers and resonate with the lived experience of patients.

  • Engage directly with our users—patients, families, and clinicians—to deeply understand their pain points and co-design solutions that truly matter.


Governance & Impact



  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of our products on usability (DAU, enrollment rates, completion rates, engagement rates) and clinical outcomes (e.g., readmission rates, care plan adherence), patient engagement, and health system operational efficiency.

  • Ensure all clinical products meet the highest standards of data privacy, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA), championing our responsible AI principles throughout the product development process.

  • Communicate your product vision, strategy, and results with clarity and conviction to stakeholders at all levels, from your development team to our executive leadership and health system partners.

  • Participate and manage a clinical governance committee consisting of internal, client, and external experts in the design and development of agentic clinical products and clinical impact analytics.


What You'll Bring: Qualifications & Attributes


Required Qualifications



  • 8+ years of experience in healthcare tech domain with focus on Clinical Products

  • 4+ years of product management experience within a B2B SaaS or healthcare technology company, with a proven track record of shipping successful, complex products from concept to launch.

  • Deep, first-hand understanding of clinical workflows, hospital operations, healthcare data systems (EHRs), and the principles of evidence-based practice.

  • Expertise in population health principles and disease management best practices, with experience designing or managing programs that aim to improve outcomes for specific patient cohorts.

  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex clinical and technical concepts for diverse audiences and lead cross-functional teams through influence.

  • An advanced clinical degree (e.g., MD, DO, PhD, DNP, PA) or an RN with an advanced degree in a relevant field such as nursing informatics or public health.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Direct experience in developing, managing, or clinically validating AI/ML-powered products, particularly in a patient-facing or clinical decision support setting.

  • Familiarity with healthcare data interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and data privacy regulations beyond HIPAA (e.g., GDPR).

  • Experience working with products that require deep, workflow-level integration with major EHRs like Epic or Oracle Cerner.

  • Knowledge of the regulatory landscape for clinical software, including FDA guidance on Software as a Medical Device (SaMD).

  • A \"hustler mentality\" with a bias for action, a track record of driving projects forward in a fast-paced environment, and the grit to overcome complex challenges.
