About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Content and Social Media Strategist - Retail & E-commerce to join our team. This role will focus on developing and executing content strategies tailored specifically to the US market. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience independently coming up with compelling content ideas and campaigns and be able to explain to management how to best deploy the content to fit into our current marketing strategies. This position is key to shaping our brand and driving new potential customers engagement across various digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy Development:
  • Develop and execute content strategies focused on the US market and international clients, ensuring relevance and engagement for these audiences.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to create strategic content ideas based on audience research and business needs.
  • Identify key content placement opportunities across various platforms to maximize visibility and engagement.
  • Work as an Individual contributor with the freedom to create and implement strategies independently.Content Creation:
  • Write, edit, and design compelling content for blogs, social media, websites, email campaigns, and other digital platforms tailored for US and international customers.
  • Create long-form content and other creative pieces for e-commerce and retail clients aimed at driving traffic and engagement.
  • Social Media Management:
  • Manage our social media accounts on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other key platforms to engage US and international audiences.
  • Increase follower engagement and reach through strategic content partnerships and collaboration.
  • Use AI tools (e.g., Photoshop, Gemini, ChatGPT) to create content at scale while maintaining a personalized touch.
  • SEO and Analytics:
  • Perform SEO keyword research, optimize content with metatags, and create SEO strategies focused on driving organic traffic from US-based and international audiences.
  • Track and analyze content performance, including metrics such as conversion rates, engagement, and traffic from the US market and abroad.
  • Communicate marketing results to clients and executives, offering data-driven insights and recommendations for next steps.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with marketing teams, retail operations, and external agencies to ensure cohesive execution of campaigns.
  • Communicate campaign results and strategic insights to clients, addressing next steps and potential adjustments.
  • Collaborate with our Marketing Team to set up podcast, guest appearances as well as manage as our own internal podcast.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing, specifically for US and international clients.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a focus on engaging US market and international retail audiences.
  • Proficiency in SEO, keyword research, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.).
  • Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot) and graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns and drive engagement in the US and international markets.
  • Experience with social media metrics, content partnerships, and digital marketing tools to engage followers.
  • Genuine interest in Retail technology and other key retail trends shaping the market today.
