Job Summary

Progressive Technology is hiring energetic, punctual, and customer-focused Delivery Executives to fulfil food delivery orders for leading platforms like Zomato and Swiggy. If you own a two-wheeler with valid documents, are comfortable using a smartphone, and enjoy working on flexible schedules with attractive incentives, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick up orders from partner restaurants and deliver them safely and on time to customers.

  • Navigate efficiently using the delivery apps GPS and recommended routes.

  • Maintain professional behaviour and clear communication with customers, restaurant partners, and support teams.

  • Handle cash/card/UPI on delivery where applicable and reconcile payments as per process.

  • Ensure order accuracy, minimal cancellations, and adherence to platform SLAs (on-time delivery, ratings, etc.).

  • Follow all traffic, safety, and hygiene guidelines.

  • Report any issues (address mismatch, customer unavailability, app glitches) promptly to the support team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Mandatory: Two-wheeler (bike/scooter) with valid Driving Licence, RC, Insurance, and PUC.

  • Smartphone proficiency (Android/iOS) with internet access to use the delivery app.

  • Basic understanding of English/Hindi/regional language to read order details and communicate where needed.

  • Ability to use maps/GPS and follow digital navigation.

  • Strong time management, customer service orientation, and problem-solving attitude.

Experience

  • Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome.

  • Prior delivery/logistics/field work experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

Working Hours

  • Flexible shifts: Choose Full-Time (8–10 hrs), Part-Time (4–6 hrs), or Peak-Hour/Weekend slots.

  • Work on a weekly roster or daily log-in model depending on city and platform rules.

  • Peak demand periods: Lunch (11 AM–3 PM) and Dinner (6 PM–11 PM).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns.

  • Ability to lift and carry delivery bags safely.

  • Reliability under time pressure and dynamic order volumes.

  • Professionalism in handling customers, even in escalated situations.

  • Basic knowledge of earnings dashboards, incentives, and payouts inside partner apps.
