The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products that cater to the biomedical and healthcare industry. Responsibilities: - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of our biomedical and healthcare IT software. - Conduct functional, usability, integration, and performance testing to identify defects and areas for improvement. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and system architecture to create effective test scenarios. - Identify and report software defects, providing clear and detailed documentation of issues and their resolutions. - Perform regression testing to verify software fixes and enhancements, ensuring that previously identified defects have been addressed. - Work closely with the development team to replicate and validate reported issues. - Able to identify, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools for efficient and effective testing. - Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and advancements in the biomedical and healthcare IT sector to improve testing processes and methodologies. - Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process. Required Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field. - Experience in writing Test cases, Test Scenarios, Documenting Test Results, logging bugs, etc. - Experience in logging bugs in JIRA. - Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including standards and regulations related to healthcare data and systems. - Experience in testing healthcare software applications, including Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, medical imaging software, or healthcare data analytics platforms is a plus. - Experience in automation testing using python is a must. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively identify and isolate software defects. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document test cases, test results, and defect reports accurately. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented setting. - If you are passionate about ensuring the quality and reliability of healthcare software solutions and contributing to the improvement of the healthcare industry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
