Position: Intern - Analytics
What will your role involve?
Delivering risk and/or analytic solutions in the financial services industry
Working with stakeholders across product management, data science, and engineering and driving implementation of risk and data analytic strategies
Managing challenging time constraints and ensuring on-time delivery of projects
Developing and generating management reports for portfolio monitoring
Collecting data, analysing, and identifying key differentiating indicators for segmentation and for driving effective risk mitigation and/or marketing strategies.
Working closely with partner teams in identifying, evaluating, and recommending new data that helps in overall risk and marketing strategies.
Analyzing portfolio trends and simulating risk and marketing strategies
Working closely with data science team on model building and deployment
Building scorecards that leverage both internal performance data and external performance data
Performing analysis, developing strategies and crafting presentations that help articulate strategy for the leadership team.
To help us level up, you will ideally have:
A quantitative background in engineering, statistics, math or economics or related disciplines.
Knowledge of database query language (e.g. SQL) and developer tools such as Python, R , databricks in a finance or analytics field.
Prior model building experience is a plus but not critical.
An analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to deal with ambiguity.
Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; ability to engage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across teams.
