Job Title: Website Designer & Developer

Location: India Remote

Employment Type: Contractual (PST Timezone)



Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Website Designer & Developer to design, build, and maintain engaging, responsive websites for our company and clients. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for aesthetics, UX/UI design, and clean front-end development practices. They should also have working knowledge of WordPress, web performance optimization, and cross-platform compatibility.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design visually appealing, user-friendly websites aligned with brand identity and business goals

· Develop and maintain websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress (or other CMS platforms)

· Create mockups, wireframes, and prototypes as needed

· Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility

· Collaborate with marketing and content teams to ensure cohesive messaging

· Regularly test and update websites to enhance performance and security

· Optimize site speed and implement SEO best practices

· Manage hosting environments and domain setups

· Maintain consistency in branding, layout, and design standards

· Troubleshoot issues and bugs in a timely manner

Requirements and Skills:

· Proven experience in website design and front-end development

· Website designer - at least 2 years of experience

· Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive frameworks like Bootstrap

· Solid understanding of UX/UI principles

· Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress preferred)

· Strong visual design skills and familiarity with Adobe XD, Figma, or similar tools

· Basic SEO knowledge and web performance optimization

· Strong communication and collaboration skills

· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

· Familiarity with Google Analytics and basic A/B testing tools is a plus

Preferred Experience:

· E-commerce website design/development

· Experience with motion graphics or animation (e.g. Lottie, Webflow animations)

· Working knowledge of Git or version control

· Experience working in an agency or client-facing environment
