IT and Business Applications Manager

As Prohealth continues to expand, the Company is looking to strengthen its IT team with the addition of an IT and Business Applications Manager.

Job Summary:

The IT and Business Applications Manager, oversees the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Prohealth and TrioMed IT systems and infrastructure. This role ensures secure, efficient, and integrated business systems, drives process automation, and provides functional and technical support across different platforms and departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the Company's Enterprise Resource Planning system, currently Microsoft based, ensuring smooth operation, configuration, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage various system updates, release cycles, and change requests, ensuring proper testing, documentation, and communication before deployment.
  • Support and enhance reporting capabilities, primarily through Power BI, while also assisting with other business intelligence and reporting tools; provide development, maintenance, and user support.
  • Oversee and provide functional support for the Company’s integrated systems.
  • Identify and implement new tools and automation opportunities (such as Microsoft Power Automate) to improve efficiency and data visibility.
  • Manage and coordinate internal IT related projects, ensuring timely delivery, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage all day-to-day IT operations, including hardware, software, networks, and user support.
  • Coordinate IT onboarding and offboarding, account management, permissions, and device allocation.
  • Manage IT procurement, supplier relationships, and licensing renewals, ensuring cost efficiency and value for money.
  • Maintain IT security, including access controls, antivirus protection, firewalls, monitoring, and user training on best practices of data safety.
  • Ensure regular data backups, business continuity planning, and disaster recovery processes are in place and tested.
  • Collaborate with business unit leaders to identify process optimisation and automation opportunities across departments.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Maintain systems documentation, internal IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay abreast of technology trends and digital transformation opportunities, supporting adoption and integration across the business.
  • Assist in identifying and leveraging IT-related funding or grants for digital transformation projects.
  • Provide hands-on guidance and support to users, promoting effective and secure use of systems and data.
  • Any other task assigned by the direct Leader.

The Candidate must have:

  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience managing business systems, IT operations, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Extensive experience with the Microsoft stack (Business Central, Power BI, Power Automate, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and more).
  • Strong understanding of IT security principles, including access control, network protection, user education, data privacy, and business continuity.
  • Experience managing IT suppliers, budgets, and IT related projects.
  • Solid technical background in networking, IT infrastructure, Virtualisation, and user support.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Service-oriented and hands-on.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to support users across all levels.
  • Able to balance strategic improvements with daily operational delivery.
