We are looking for an experienced and results-driven IT Officer to join our team.</p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Role Overview</span></p> <p>We are seeking a proactive and hands-on <span style="font-weight: bold">IT & Cyber Security Officer</span> to take ownership of all IT operations and security initiatives across the organization. This hybrid role combines <span style="font-weight: bold">IT infrastructure and cybersecurity management</span> with <span style="font-weight: bold">first-line technical support</span> responsibilities.<br><br></p> <p>The ideal candidate will ensure our systems, users, and data remain secure, compliant, and operational while providing responsive, high-quality support to internal teams and external partners.</p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Key Responsibilities:<br><br></span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Cybersecurity & IT Governance</span></p> <ul> <li>Develop, implement, and maintain all IT and Cyber Security policies across the company.</li> <li>Ensure company-wide adherence to IT and security standards through regular monitoring and enforcement.</li> <li>Maintain network and firewall security configurations in line with best practices.</li> <li>Define and implement password standards, ensuring periodic password rotations and compliance.</li> <li>Conduct quarterly IT and security audits to validate compliance and identify areas of improvement.</li> <li>Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and ransomware risks, and implement preventive measures.</li> <li>Provide ongoing security awareness and training for all staff.</li> <li>Collaborate with leadership to align IT and security objectives with business goals and compliance requirements.<br><br></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">IT Infrastructure & Support:</span></p> <ul> <li>Act as the first point of contact for all IT and system support requests via email, chat, or phone.</li> <li>Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues in a timely manner.</li> <li>Manage user accounts, system onboarding, access permissions, and laptop provisioning.</li> <li>Log, track, and prioritize incidents and service requests using the ticketing system.</li> <li>Escalate complex or unresolved issues to second-line or development teams as needed.</li> <li>Perform system health checks and routine maintenance to ensure uptime and performance.</li> <li>Document technical solutions, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides for internal reference.</li> <li>Support cloud-based applications, integrations, and SaaS tools used across the company.</li> <li>Provide clear and timely communication to users regarding issue status and resolution.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Skills & Qualifications:</span></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.</li> <li>3–5 years of proven experience in IT administration, network security, or IT support.</li> <li>Strong understanding of information security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls).</li> <li>Hands-on experience with endpoint management, firewalls, and security tools.</li> <li>Familiarity with identity and access management, vulnerability management, and audit processes.</li> <li>Proficiency with Windows and macOS environments and IT ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk, Freshdesk).</li> <li>Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and take ownership of IT and security operations.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Preferred Experience:</span></p> <ul> <li>Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or CEH.</li> <li>Experience supporting SaaS platforms, cloud services, or multi-site environments.</li> <li>Knowledge of security protocols, data protection, and compliance best practices.</li> <li>Exposure to healthcare or fintech systems and data integration standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, DICOM).</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">How to Apply</span></p> <p>If you’re passionate about technology, security, and problem-solving and want to be part of a growing digital platform; we’d love to hear from you!<br><br></p> <p>Please send your resume to <span style="font-weight: bold">hr@31g.co.uk</span> or <span style="font-weight: bold">zainab.zahra@31g.co.uk</span></p> <p> </p>
