Lead Aerospace Systems Engineer

Our client, a prominent player in the aerospace industry, is seeking a highly experienced Lead Aerospace Systems Engineer to join their prestigious team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, IN . This role demands a deep understanding of aerospace systems design, integration, and testing. You will be responsible for leading complex projects from conception through to production, ensuring that all systems meet stringent safety, performance, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in aerospace engineering principles, a proven history of successfully managing large-scale projects, and exceptional leadership capabilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, as well as manufacturing and quality assurance departments. Responsibilities include: Leading the design, development, integration, and testing of complex aerospace systems. Defining system requirements, architectures, and interfaces. Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery. Performing system-level analysis, trade studies, and risk assessments. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA). Mentoring and guiding junior engineers and technical staff. Collaborating with suppliers and external partners to manage system components and subsystems. Developing and executing test plans and procedures. Investigating and resolving technical issues during the development and production phases. Preparing and presenting technical reports and project status updates to senior management and stakeholders. Qualifications: Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field. A Ph.D. is a plus. Minimum of 8 years of experience in aerospace systems engineering, with a significant portion in a lead or senior capacity. Extensive experience with systems engineering methodologies and tools (e.g., DOORS, MATLAB/Simulink). Proven ability to manage complex aerospace projects from concept to completion. Strong understanding of aircraft systems, aerodynamics, propulsion, and avionics. Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills. Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making within a technical context. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Experience with safety-critical systems design and certification processes. Must be eligible to work in India and ideally have a background relevant to the Noida, Uttar Pradesh, IN industrial sector.
