<em>KPMG is working through its partnership with MBO Partners and is currently seeking a remote contractor in the United States.<br><br></em><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Discovery & Service Mapping; Support, enhance and maintain the ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping capabilities to ensure accurate population of infrastructure and application services</li><li>Support, monitor, and execute health checks upon other integrations and CMDB data entries outside Servicenow ITOM products.</li><li>Execute deep technical configuration and scripting for ServiceNow ITOM; Discovery patterns, schedules, probes, and sensors & MID Server troubleshooting</li><li>Host discovery workshops and design work sessions to obtain requirements clarity and produce deliverables, regarding recently added technology components and how current settings support Discovery capabilities for new onboarded technologies, to ensure the right identification of the Configuration Items (CI), and how this might impact Service mapping capabilities.</li><li>Lead the attestation, refinement, and troubleshooting of service maps to ensure accurate representation.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement of service maps to support effective incident management, change impact analysis, problem management, and impact analysis processes</li><li>Data Ingestion & Integration; Oversee the design and execution of automated and manual data ingestion from trusted external sources (e.g., SCCM, JAMF, AWS, Azure)</li><li>Understand usage and configure adoption for Service Graph Connectors (e.g. Infoblox, Qualys, CyberArk).</li><li>Ensure efficient reconciliation and avoidance of CI duplication through effective identifiers and data policies (e.g., Identification Reconciliation Engine (IRE)).</li><li>Data Quality, Compliance & Audit; Manage ongoing data quality audits, compliance checks, and operational dashboards to monitor CMDB health (completeness, correctness, compliance).</li><li>Lead workshops and working sessions with technical teams to solve associated uncompliant, or faulty records because of Certification and Audit Processes.</li><li>Document, tasks commonly executed by CMDB users as work instructions on the Knowledge Base</li><li>Develop policies and controls to ensure adherence to regulatory, security, and operational compliance standards</li><li>Contribute to governance and best practices, including data quality standards and documentation processes to ensure scalability and compliance</li><li>Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm’s respectful and courteous work environment<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree required</li><li>6+ years’ experience in data services management or related field.</li><li>Deep functional and technical knowledge of the data services, including integration technologies, web services, ETL and databases/data warehous</li><li>3+ years of experience in ServiceNow Discovery & Service Mapping and Integration with 3rd party data sources (SCCM, JAMF, vCenter, Solarwinds)</li><li>Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)</li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills with MID Servers, connectivity, and system performance</li><li>Deep understanding of ServiceNow CMDB and CSDM data model, tables, and relationships</li><li>Strong knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Vulnerability Response principles and their integration with CMDB</li><li>Ability to participate in resource planning processes based on defined organizational plans.</li><li>ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Discovery or CMDB</li><li>ITIL certification with work experience in mature service management environment a plus</li><li>Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
