Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist/Lead to oversee and support daily logistics operations, including order fulfillment, shipping, inventory management, and restocking. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity of temperature-sensitive diagnostic kits and reagents.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience handling cold-chain logistics, including shipping products on dry ice and cold packs, and is comfortable leading day-to-day logistics functions in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily logistics activities, including order picking, packing, and shipment processing
  • Ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders for diagnostic kits and reagents
  • Manage cold-chain shipping processes, including packaging products with dry ice and cold packs in compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Monitor inventory levels and oversee restocking to maintain optimal supply levels
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, quality, and customer service) to ensure smooth workflow and issue resolution
  • Maintain documentation for shipments, inventory, and compliance requirements
  • Train and guide logistics staff to ensure adherence to best practices and company procedures
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of logistics or supply chain experience, preferably in life sciences, biotech, or diagnostics
  • Prior experience handling temperature-sensitive products (dry ice, cold packs, cold-chain logistics required)
  • Proven ability to supervise or lead logistics or warehouse operations
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with shipping carriers, labeling, and compliance regulations (e.g., IATA for dry ice shipments)
  • Experience with inventory management systems or ERP platforms preferred
  • Ability to lift and move packages as needed
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in in vitro diagnostics (IVD), biotech, or laboratory supply distribution
  • Familiarity with GMP, ISO, or other regulated environments
  • Forklift certification (a plus, but not required)
