About the Role

We’re building something one-of-a-kind at Meesho – the Buy for Me Agent – an intelligent commerce assistant that helps Meesho customers purchase anything from anywhere on the internet, beyond Meesho’s own catalog.
Think of it as creating a gateway layer to the entire internet for Meesho users – a frictionless, AI-powered way to fulfill any shopping need. Your mission: drive topline growth for Buy for Me by building the strategy, operations, and user understanding to scale this revolutionary experience.
This is a role at the intersection of e-commerce category management, user insights, product thinking, and business growth – and a rare chance to shape the future of agentic commerce in India.

What you will do

    • Own the P&L & topline growth for Buy for Me – define goals, track performance, and deliver outcomes.
    • Be the voice of the user – deeply understand Meesho shoppers’ needs, pain points, and motivations.
    • Spot and solve user problems – structure ambiguous challenges, prioritise what matters most, and work with product & engineering to build solutions.
    • Craft the playbook for scaling a new commerce category – from acquisition to conversion to retention.
    • Run experiments & analytics to uncover growth levers, optimize funnels, and improve experience quality.
    • Collaborate across functions – product, engineering, operations, marketing – to move fast from idea to impact.

What you will need

    • Tier-1 undergraduate degree; MBA is a plus.
    • Understanding of e-commerce is a plus, but not mandatory.
    • Strong user-first mindset – you obsess over understanding user needs and delivering value.
    • Proven problem structuring and problem-solving skills – you can break down ambiguity into clear actions.
    • Self-starter with a high growth mindset – eager to learn new things on the job and own outcomes end-to-end.
    • High collaboration quotient – you work seamlessly with product, engineering, and design teams.
    • Comfort with data-driven decision making – you can use analytics to guide strategy.
    • Curiosity about agentic commerce and AI-led shopping experiences.
