Kirkland & Ellis is seeking a <strong>Senior Coordinator</strong> to join our Marketing & Business Development (MBD) team, supporting our leading Corporate Finance practice. You’ll play a key role in driving growth across Debt Finance and Capital Markets by shaping client pitches, managing experience data and supporting strategic initiatives.<br><br>Working closely with attorneys and an international team of marketing, research and communications professionals, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute ideas, solve problems and become a trusted partner in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.<br><br><ul><li><strong>Transaction Research & Reporting: </strong>Capture and document corporate finance deal experience for marketing use and league table submissions. </li><li><strong>Pitch & Presentation Curation: </strong>Create and maintain tailored pitch materials, client presentations and responses to requests for proposals (RFPs). </li><li><strong>Data Analysis & Insights: </strong>Analyze and synthesize internal and external data to deliver business intelligence and research insights. </li><li><strong>CRM & Pipeline Management: </strong>Maintain client lists, track opportunities and manage data within the Contact Relationship Management (CRM) system. </li><li><strong>Strategic Initiatives: </strong>Support events, award submissions, rankings and other high-impact marketing projects. <br><br></li></ul><strong>What You’ll Bring<br><br></strong><ul><li><strong>Background: </strong>Bachelor’s degree required; with 2+ years of professional experience, with a background in capital markets/debt finance, business development, financial services or project management</li><li><strong>Analytical & Critical Thinking:</strong> Ability to interpret complex financial and legal concepts and translate them into clear, compelling narratives. </li><li><strong>Communication Excellence: </strong>Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills with a polished, professional approach. </li><li><strong>Project Management: </strong>Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. </li><li><strong>Technical Proficiency:</strong> Experience with Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel) and familiarity with tools such as CapitalIQ, Bloomberg, Mergermarket, LSEG, Deal Point Data and CRM platforms like Salesforce. </li><li><strong>Collaboration & Initiative: </strong>Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to ask questions, propose improvements and take ownership of work. </li><li><strong>Judgment & Discretion: </strong>Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and sound decision-making.<br><br></li></ul>If you’re excited to bring data to life, support high-impact client work, and grow within a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you about this <strong>Senior Coordinator</strong> opportunity.<br><br><strong>Compensation<br><br></strong>The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position in Chicago. This range may differ based on your geographic location and cost of living considerations. At Kirkland & Ellis, we consider compensation more than just a base salary.
