Role Overview: You will be joining a dynamic team of coding experts at LexiCode dedicated to providing exceptional coding services to clients. Your main responsibility will be accurately assigning medical codes while ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Thoroughly review and analyze medical records to identify relevant diagnoses & procedures. - Accurately assign medical codes to reflect clinical documentation precisely. - Ensure the accuracy and integrity of coded data. - Stay updated on evolving coding guidelines, regulations, and industry best practices through continuous research. - Participate actively in coding audits and quality improvement initiatives to maintain and enhance coding accuracy standards. - Maintain optimal productivity levels while following established coding quality and efficiency benchmarks. - Uphold strict patient confidentiality and privacy standards in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications Required: - Possession of one of the following AHIMA credentials: CCS; or one of the following AAPC credentials: CPC, or CIC. - Minimum of 1 year of experience in coding Radiology. - Proficiency in ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-CM, CPT and/or HCPCS codes as appropriate, along with comprehensive knowledge of guidelines and conventions. - Competency in using coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems. - Strong analytical skills to interpret complex medical documentation accurately. - Detail-oriented approach to ensure precision and accuracy in all coding assignments. - Excellent communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration with healthcare professionals.,
