Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately convert healthcare diagnoses, procedures, and services into standardized medical codes using ICD and CPT systems.

  • Review patient records for completeness and consistency to ensure accurate code assignment.

  • Collaborate with senior medical coders, billing teams, and quality control personnel.

  • Maintain confidentiality of patient records in compliance with HIPAA and internal privacy standards.

  • Ensure timely completion of coding tasks in line with daily productivity and accuracy goals.

  • Participate in continuous learning and internal workshops for skill upgrades.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of healthcare terminology is a plus (training provided).

  • Proficiency with computers and the ability to work with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a virtual team.

Working Hours

  • Flexible remote working environment.

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (IST) — with some flexibility available.
