Job Description:

Position will be remote after 90 days. (Must be local to the Central Florida area)

Responsible for applying technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills to provide relevant, accurate, and timely information. This position demonstrates competencies in decision support and reporting by converting raw data into useful and actionable information. Additionally, this role analyzes, produces, compiles, and presents information to support decision making.

In addition, this position executes special projects and assists with other duties as directed to meet departmental needs. Additionally, this role contributes to the overall effectiveness of the department through a strong work ethic, trainability, communicative approach, and team-oriented attitude.

  • Compiles monthly data for reports to support decision-making.
  • Collects and analyzes data to create actionable solutions.
  • Evaluates the financial impact of contracts to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Analyzes financial and operational information in contracts for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develops and tracks key performance indicators to monitor progress.
  • Provides financial modeling, comparative analysis, and benchmarking to support strategic initiatives.
  • Reconciles insurance remittances to patient accounts to ensure accurate billing. Reviews claims to identify potential opportunities for improvement.
  • Researches unpaid claims to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Provides revenue and expense data for budget preparation and management. Assists with data collection and validation requirements for accreditation and network payors.
  • Works closely with pharmacy staff to ensure patient payment records are updated accurately.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Understanding of 340B contract pharmacy agreements, legal requirements and guidelines. [Preferred]
Education:
  • Bachelor's [Required]
Field of Study:
  • in Business, Accounting, or Finance
Work Experience:
  • 1+ data analytics [Preferred]
  • 1+ insurance claims processing and reconciliation [Preferred]
  • 1+ pharmacy or healthcare finance [Preferred]
  • 5+ related experience in lieu of a degree [Required]
Licenses and Certifications:
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) [Preferred]
