<div><div><div><p><b>Rare Disease (RD) HIT Solutions Account Director- Southeast</b>will lead the RD HIT strategic approach and customer engagement with identified leading health systems in defined region. Working with leading health systems to help harness their EHR to improve diagnosis, treatment,and management of patients within aligned therapeutic areas that RD Key Account Management engages. Examples include helping customers understand the value of optimizing their clinical workflow within these therapeutic areas while leveraging EHR technologies to support population health management.HIT Solutions Account Director provides strategic support and guidance for leveraging e-platforms to facilitate the evolution of care from a reactive episodic based care model to a predictive and proactive management of chronic illness across the care continuum. </p></div><div><p>Relevant functionalities include clinical decision support consistent with evidence-based guidelines (e.g., alerts, hard edits, screeners, and order sets), standing orders/protocol orders, patient outreach and education (e.g., patient portals and reminders), bi-directional data sharing and measurement/reporting tools. </p></div><div><p> </p></div><div><p><b>ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES </b> </p></div><div><ul><li><p>HIT Solutions Account Director will serve as Pfizer's Liaison working with customer's representatives (i.e., CIO, CMIO, Quality Director, EHR/EMR Leaders & Analysts, etc.) responsible for Health IT-related engagements within defined care projects and/or collaborations </p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Serve as technical support to the broader Pfizer Account Management community to help them </p></li></ul></div><div><p>understand application of appropriate Health IT strategies, use of Health IT resources, and help </p></div><div><p>assess Pfizer's needs related to the customer's needs and Health IT market evolution </p></div><div><ul><li><p>HIT Solutions Account Director will provide input into Review Committee (RC) approved, scalable, EHR/EMR enabled tools and resources in relation to key therapeutic areas </p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>HIT Solutions Account Director will understand and be a strategic thought partner within the Pfizer Account Team for regional and leading health system trends relating to care management evolution, quality and value-based care initiatives, and provider and patient satisfaction that impact HIT implementation and governance </p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>HIT Solutions Account Director will serve as liaison across BUs for Health IT-related issues and inform overall Health IT strategy </p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Attend and share relevant insights from major Health IT conferences and Pfizer Health IT summits </p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Flexible for up to 35% travel </p></li></ul></div><div><p> </p></div><div><p><b>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS </b> </p></div><div><ul><li><p>BA/BS degree required, EHR certifications or advanced degree in a Health IT/Informatics related field required </p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Significant experience in the functional and technical application of health information technology </p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Experience in the functional and technical application of health information technology required across in-patient and ambulatory settings </p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Clinical integration experience across the care continuum </p></li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li><p>An understanding of the Health IT landscape including inter-relationships of the players within</p></li></ul></div><div><p>the Health IT space – vendors, third-party data sources, etc.</p></div><div><ul><li><p>Hands- on experience with top EHR products preferred (e.g., Epic, Allscripts, eClinicalWorks,</p></li></ul></div><div><p>Cerner, etc.)</p></div><div><ul><li><p>An understanding of the impact of healthcare reform initiatives on the healthcare environment</p></li></ul></div><div><p>including Leading Health Systems, Pharma, Payers, etc.</p></div><div><ul><li><p>Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills are necessary to manage</p></li></ul></div><div><p>diverse needs, meet deadlines and monitor and evaluate results</p></div><div><ul><li><p>Excellent presentation skills required</p></li></ul></div><div><p> </p></div><div><p><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</b> </p></div><div><ul><li><p>Cardiovascular and/or Hematology experience preferred </p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact </p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Ideal candidate will reside the Eastern or Central time zone with easy access to a major airport </p></li></ul></div></div> The annual base salary for this position ranges from $176,600.00 to $294,300.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
