Job Summary

Scalesforth is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will manage the accounts receivable process, ensure timely collection of payments, maintain accurate financial records, and collaborate with clients to resolve outstanding invoices. Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and distribute invoices to clients accurately and promptly.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and follow up on overdue balances.
  • Reconcile customer accounts, resolve discrepancies, and process adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records of all financial transactions related to accounts receivable.
  • Respond to client inquiries and provide excellent customer service regarding billing and payment issues.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure the accuracy of client accounts.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or related roles.
