NotaryLive is a fast-growing, industry-leading platform delivering secure, seamless online notarization services. We're currently contracting Remote Online Notaries (RON) who are already credentialed in Missouri-late afternoon, evening and overnight coverage.

This is a contractor position. Applicants must be commissioned notaries and RON-approved in their respective states to sign up and be considered. Spanish speaking notaries and early morning/ overnight availability will be prioritized.

Once approved to notarize, you'll join our team as a Silver Notary, earning referral-based pay on our overflow of ready-to-go customers. As you build your experience and reputation with us, you'll have the opportunity to advance to Gold Notary status, qualifying you for $18/hour.   • Perform remote notarizations using NotaryLive’s secure, state-approved platform
  • Ensure accuracy, legal compliance, and privacy
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism with every client interaction
  • Identify technical issues and provide feedback to improve the platform

Requirements

  • Must reside in MO
  • Spanish/ French speaking will be prioritized
  • Must be a commissioned Notary Public with Remote Online Notary (RON) certification in your state
  • Strong internet, webcam, and quiet workspace

Path 1: I am already a commissioned RON/Electronic Notary

If you have your remote/electronic certification, you can . To be approved, you must meet the following requirements: Sign up here:

  • Technology Provider: Ensure NotaryLive is listed as your authorized technology provider (required by some states). An exemplar is provided at sign up if your State requires it to be submitted with your application.
  • IdenTrust Digital Certificate: You must have a PKI/digital certificate purchased specifically from IdenTrust; no other providers are compatible with our platform.
  • Approval Process: Once you upload all credentials, approval typically takes 3–5 business days.
  • Next Step: After approval, please follow up with us to request a promotion to Silver or Gold status.

Path 2: I am a Traditional Notary (but not RON certified)

If you currently hold a traditional commission and want to move online:

  • Check State Requirements: Navigate to your Secretary of State’s website to learn the specific requirements for notarizing documents remotely or electronically in your state.

Path 3: I am NOT yet a Notary

If you are looking to start your notary journey:

  • Get Commissioned: Visit your state’s official website to review the steps and requirements to become a traditional Notary Public. This is the first step before you can apply for RON certification.
