The company is hiring a Site Civil Engineer to support civil site projects, including grading, earthwork, and stormwater management, while collaborating with a professional engineer and the project team.


Responsibilities

  • The Site Civil Engineer will be a staff engineer working with the technical team and under the supervision of a professional engineer to deliver well-executed projects to our clients.
  • You will assist with plan production, perform and review design calculations, drive quality assurance, and support the internal and external project team on a variety of site/civil land development engineering projects.
  • Project elements typically include grading and earthwork, site access, erosion control, stormwater management, and other documentation to support the client’s permitting and construction efforts.
  • Work will vary from project to project, so our engineers are exposed to a number of different practices which allow them to not only become well rounded, but also to find a specialty they have interest in.
  • This Team is expanding with additional expansion expected over the next few years. This allows for lots of potential for upward mobility once experience has been gained.

Skills

  • BS in Civil Engineering or closely related field.
  • 0-5 years of experience.
  • EIT/FE Certification or ability to obtain.
  • Ability and willingness to learn and work collaboratively in a team environment, across multiple teams and disciplines.
  • Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D (strongly preferred) or MicroStation.
  • Exposure to Autodesk Vehicle Tracking, Bluebeam, HydroCAD, Microsoft Suite, and other relevant software products a plus.
