JOB SUMMARY:

The research assistant will support qualitative and quantitative research data management, cleaning, analysis, write-up and presentation/dissemination as well as other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES:

50% - Essential - Transcription of audio recordings: Transcribes audio in detail.

40% - Essential - Data management and cleaning:

Searches relevant databases for data scoping, data extraction, synthesis and integrating with collected survey data every quarter; extracts and incorporates data into master individual data file periodically.

10% - Essential - Data analysis and presentation:

Analyzes data and presents data.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education - High School or Equivalent

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

Education - 1st Bachelor's Degree

RESPONSIBILITIES

JOB KNOWLEDGE Fundamental Job Knowledge - Fundamental working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to apply in varied situations

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No Supervisory Duties - Not responsible for supervising employees.

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES

No Budget Responsibilities - No fiscal responsibility for the department's budget.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

COMPENSATION INFORMATION

Band: G07 (expected range: $ 18.90/hour to $20.00/hour) Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
