Position Overview

The Sales Manager will play a key role in driving business growth for Athena LMS across multiple international regions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in IT and EdTech sales, understand global learning trends, and have the ability to convert leads into long-term partnerships.

This role requires a high-performing, target-driven professional who can build strong client relationships, understand customer learning requirements, and offer customized digital learning and LMS-based solutions.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales Development & Lead Generation

● Identify and qualify potential clients in the US, UK, India, Middle East, and European markets.

● Generate new business leads through online research, outreach, and networking.

● Build and manage a consistent sales pipeline through B2B prospecting, calls, emails, and digital marketing leads.

Client Relationship Management

● Conduct needs analysis to understand client requirements related to LMS, e-learning, and digital learning solutions.

● Present customized product demos and solution proposals aligned with client needs.

● Maintain long-term business relationships with existing and potential clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Business procurement strategy & Execution

● Develop and implement Business procurement strategies for IT-based learning and micro learning products.

● Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in line with organizational goals.

● Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, content, product, and technical teams) to ensure client satisfaction and timely project delivery.

● Participate in online meetings, virtual product demos, and global client discussions based on assigned time zones.

Market Expansion & Analysis

● Research and analyze market trends, customer demands, and competitor offerings in the EdTech and LMS sectors.

● Identify new market opportunities in enterprise learning, universities, and professional training sectors.

● Provide regular feedback and reports to management on client needs, product improvement, and business performance.

Sales Reporting & Documentation

● Maintain accurate and updated data in CRM systems.

● Prepare detailed reports on lead status, sales pipeline, and deal closures.

● Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical sales practices.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or related discipline.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in IT Sales / LMS Sales / E-Learning or Digital Learning Sales.

Language: Proficiency in English (both verbal and written) is mandatory.

Shift Flexibility: Must be willing to work in US, UK, and India shifts depending on market focus.

Work Mode: Work From Office (WFO) – 6 days a week.

● Deep understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS), E-learning, Digital Learning, and Microlearning concepts.
