Senior Aviation Systems Engineer

Our client, a prominent player in the aerospace industry, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Aviation Systems Engineer to contribute to the development and integration of advanced aircraft systems. This hybrid role offers the best of both worlds, combining remote work flexibility with essential in-office collaboration, based in Gurugram, Haryana, IN . You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of aviation systems, from conceptual design and requirements definition to testing, validation, and certification. This involves intricate work with avionics, flight controls, communication systems, and other critical aircraft components.

Key responsibilities include defining system requirements, developing system architectures, and performing system integration and testing. You will analyze system performance, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and ensure compliance with stringent aviation standards and regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA). Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, as well as aerodynamicists and airframers, will be a significant part of your role. You will also be involved in technical documentation, progress reporting, and potentially client or regulatory body interactions.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in aviation systems engineering. A deep understanding of aircraft systems, avionics integration, and system safety principles is essential. Proficiency in systems engineering tools (e.g., DOORS, Cameo) and simulation software is highly desirable. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are critical.
