HEY THERE!

We're hiring a Senior Product Designer to join the Tracking Experience (TX) squad — the team behind the heart of Yazio. Food tracking, AI-driven daily insights, and the habit-building flows users open multiple times a day. The screens that are the product for most of our users.

This isn't a role where you'll be handed a brief and asked to make it pretty. You'll be the design voice in the squad, owning the journey from discovery to handoff. You'll shape what we research and how, design mobile experiences that hold up under real daily use, and present your work directly to senior stakeholders.

If you get genuinely curious about why users behave the way they do — and you have the visual craft to turn that into something that feels effortless on a small screen — this one's for you.

Let's shape the future of nutrition together and make Yazio the most successful nutrition app worldwide.

This role is 100% remote and open to candidates based in Germany, Spain, Portugal, or the U.K.

YOUR MISSION

Design the everyday food tracking experience: meal logging, daily AI insights, and the habit-forming flows users open multiple times a day. Every tap has to earn its place, and reducing cognitive load is what keeps a habit alive over weeks, not just days

Own discovery from start to finish. Define and execute research plans for new initiatives, pick the right method for the question (user interviews, usability tests, assisted testing, A/B experiments), and translate qualitative and quantitative signals into design decisions that move both user behavior and our OKRs

Deliver high-fidelity mobile UI you're proud of — clean, considered, polished. The bar is high here because users see this work every single day, and small details compound fast at our scale

Prototype fast using AI-powered tools (Lovable, Replit) alongside Figma. You'll talk through your design decisions, take direct feedback, and contribute your point of view when it matters

Contribute to our design system and project libraries, helping us build a consistent foundation that scales across the product org

YOUR PROFILE

You've designed core flows in a B2C mobile product — the screens users come back to every day. You enjoy thinking about how small details shape long-term experience, and you bring a behavioral lens to how habits form on a small screen

You have real mobile depth. You design for thumbs and small screens by default, and your portfolio shows the kind of considered mobile work that comes from spending real time in the medium

You run discovery without being asked. You don't need anyone to tell you to talk to users; you'll define the question, choose the method, run the research, and come back with insights that actually change the design

You have strong visual craft and a high bar for UI quality. You can tell instantly when something looks off, and you won't ship something you're not proud of

You're fluent with AI design tools (Lovable, Replit, Framer, Dovetail or similar) and use them in your day-to-day workflow.
