You’ll also work alongside DevOps and cloud engineers to deploy and maintain services on Google Cloud Platform (particularly Vertex AI), as well as cross-functional teams such as network engineers, IT, and documentation specialists to identify key opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements across Arista.<br><br>We're building internal tools to help other Arista teams work more efficiently.<br><br><strong>What You’ll Do<br><br></strong><ul><li>Develop and maintain internal conversational AI/chatbot agents for configuration, automation, and information retrieval</li><li>Build scalable Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications to organize and surface organizational knowledge</li><li>Create LLM-integrated solutions to reduce manual effort and enhance decision-making across teams</li><li>Design and implement robust, reliable data pipelines from diverse sources including web content, Confluence, Box, GitLab, and more</li><li>Collaborate with engineering, IT, product, and documentation teams to identify high-value automation opportunities</li><li>Continuously improve internal developer and operational experiences using AI-powered tooling<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><strong>Must-Have Skills:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Strong programming skills in Python; solid understanding of core computer science concepts and algorithms</li><li>Experience with API integrations and building/maintaining production-grade data pipelines</li><li>Proficiency with software development best practices: Git, code reviews, testing, CI/CD</li><li>Hands-on experience extracting and processing structured/unstructured data from various sources</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to independently navigate ambiguous technical challenges.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Nice-to-Haves<br><br></strong><ul><li>Familiarity with machine learning and data science fundamentals</li><li>Experience working with LLMs and frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar</li><li>Exposure to cloud platforms—especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Vertex AI</li><li>Understanding of RAG architectures or vector search (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone)<br><br></li></ul><strong>Additional Information<br><br></strong>Arista stands out as an engineering-centric company.
