As a Web Tester / Quality Assurance Tester, Software Tester, QA Tester, Website Tester, or Test Analyst, you will play a crucial role in enhancing software quality for customer-facing websites. Your responsibilities will include identifying test scenarios for web solutions, creating test plans, conducting functional and cross-browser testing, documenting system errors, and maintaining a repository of test plans. It will be essential to ensure that all work aligns with customer expectations and departmental quality standards. You are expected to stay updated on software testing tools, standards, and processes while gaining a comprehensive understanding of Ontrack core website systems beyond a testing perspective. Additionally, you will be responsible for owning and updating user documentation for these core systems. To qualify for this role, you should have hands-on experience in testing web applications, the ability to derive test cases from functional requirements, and proficiency in cross-browser/environment testing. Familiarity with web software testing tools and processes, web standards, accessibility compliance, and the Software Development Life Cycle is essential. Strong communication, interpersonal, attention to detail, planning, organization, and time management skills are required. Your eagerness for continuous learning and skill development, along with a positive and results-oriented mindset, will be valued.
