Position Summary

Momentous is seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to craft compelling video edits educating and inspiring consumers, while supporting key marketing initiatives and driving business growth.

As a key member of the content team, the Video Editor will craft the look and feel of the brand through highly innovative and engaging motion content. You will be responsible for creating video content which resonates with our target audience, enhances brand identity, and helps drive engagement across various channels (web, social, email, blog, podcast, influencer/affiliate, paid media).

This role is ideal for an innovative visual storyteller with a passion for health and wellness, and the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging, and inspiring content, affirming our position as a leader in the sports nutrition and supplements space.

You will be working closely with other creatives and reporting to the Director of Creative & Content.

This role supports Momentous’ mission of democratizing high performance by creating and telling stories around our products, partners and customers that inspire, educate, and guide.

Responsibilities

  • Video Editing
  • Edit high-quality long and short form video content for digital platforms, including social media, YouTube, website, and paid ads.
  • Craft compelling narratives and visuals that effectively communicate the brand’s values, mission, and product benefits while providing real value to our consumer.
  • Incorporate motion graphics, animation and sound design to enhance video quality and engagement.
  • Content Collaboration & Execution
  • Work closely with the content team to understand campaign objectives, target audience, and key messaging points.
  • Manage the post-production workflow, including editing, color grading, sound mixing, and file delivery.
  • Strategic Input & Innovation
  • Stay informed about video trends, techniques, and technologies to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the team.
  • Optimize video content for specific platforms and audiences, ensuring maximum reach and impact.
  • File & Asset Management
  • Organize and maintain a digital library (DAM) of raw footage, project files, and final assets for easy access and reuse.
  • Ensure all assets are properly licensed and adhere to copyright regulations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with 3–5 years as a Video Editor in a similar role, preferably with experience or knowledge of the health and wellness or CPG spaces.
  • Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects, as well as understanding of video formats, codecs and industry best practices.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing projects across a variety of social and digital channels.
  • Proficient in motion graphics, animation, sound design and color grading.
  • Proven ability to adapt tone and style to different audiences while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality, with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross‑functional teams, including designers, writers and marketers.
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining digital asset management systems (DAM).
  • Passion for health, wellness, and creating content that inspires and educates.
