Join Publix Technology as an Associate Technical Support Analyst on the Request Services and Change Management team. This team is responsible for working with various business areas across Publix to analyze their requests for modifications to computing hardware, software, and/or access to various systems (LAN, Host, Unix, SAP, etc.).


Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate change review meetings, including scheduling, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Manage and maintain process documentation for request and change management.
  • Oversee change records from initiation to completion.
  • Resolve record-related issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
  • Support process improvement initiatives for request and change management.
  • Ensure compliance with Publix Information Security Policy.
  • Review and validate peer work for accuracy and adherence to standards.

Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of IT experience
  • 2+ years of experience performing analytical type duties
  • Minimum 30-40 wpm typing skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in an IT related field
  • 3+ years of IT experience
  • 3+ years of experience performing analytical type duties
  • Familiar with request process or ticketing system
  • Knowledge of Compliance and Audit change and access management requirements
  • Experience with Publix tools such as Request Center, CMDB, Tivoli Identity Manager, Quest Active Roles Server, RACF, and ServiceNow!
  • Understanding of security best practices
