  • Cascade Park Gardens is looking for a reliable Full-Time Facilities/Maintenance Techs with an excellent work ethic and rehab skills.

    Do you consider yourself good at fixing things? Hate being stuck behind a desk all day? Experience is preferred but a willingness to learn many different skills like plumbing, drywall, painting, and electrical will also be considered.

    Some of the Responsibilities:

    • Perform general maintenance functions, including routine plumbing repair, routine electrical repair, changing of light bulbs and tubes, repairing damaged furniture and fixtures, paint or touch-up marked or damaged surfaces, providing carpentry work, etc.
    • Responsible for the overall appearance of the grounds, including grass and planting areas, walkways and entrances, driveways, and parking areas.
    • Perform routine trash collection/disposal from around the perimeters of facilities and offices including yards, flower beds, sidewalks, parking lots, and alleys.
    • Install and routinely check smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and other life/safety equipment.
    • Prepare resident rooms for new occupants and provide assistance with the move-in/move-out process, including furnishing and/ or replacing room appliances, equipment, and /or hardware to ensure components are installed and operational.
    • Responsible for ensuring that employees have adequate supplies and equipment for completion of assignments; the purchasing of Maintenance supplies and equipment shall be requisitioned through the Director of Environmental Services on a weekly or as needed basis; maintains records and control of equipment inventory and custodial supply inventory in coordination with the Director of Environmental Services.
    • Perform general housekeeping functions to include routine floor and carpet care, cleaning of resident living quarters, common use areas, public facilities, etc., to ensure a clean, safe, and pleasing environment.
    • Responsible for assisting in the cleaning of interior building space ensuring a clean, safe, and pleasing environment.
    • Perform general laundry functions including the laundering of resident personal laundry and facility linens; Resolve Lost /Missing items through investigation and recovery process.
    • Respond promptly to staff requests for assistance relating to housekeeping and/or laundry, especially concerning any reported unsafe conditions in or around the building.
