All content that airs on Looma’s network is produced or edited by Relay™, their global network of independent filmmakers, editors, and other creators who specialize in point-of-decision content.Position DescriptionLooma is hiring a part-time Field Operations Technician (W-2) to support the installation and ongoing maintenance of our tablet displays inside retail partner locations. This role offers flexible, non-traditional hours that vary from week to week based on store needs, pilot programs, and rollout schedules—making it ideal for candidates seeking supplemental income, flexible work arrangements, or hands-on experience with a growing ad-tech company. As a Field Operations Technician, you are Looma’s face in the field. You’ll ensure our displays are fully operational, visually polished, and well-received by store teams.What You'll DoPrepare, install, and maintain Looma tablet displays in retail environments.Troubleshoot hardware and mounting issues, including on-site reboots, remounting tablets on shelves, and correcting cable management and power connections.Install and maintain display décor and signage.Perform routine store audits to ensure displays are online, clean, and operating at peak performance.Respond to and prioritize urgent maintenance requests.Support new pilot programs and large-scale retail rollouts.Who You AreWe’re looking for people who are:Reliable – You show up, follow through, and hit deadlinesSelf-directed – Comfortable working independently in retail environmentsDetail-oriented – You notice crooked signage, loose cables, and screens that are offlineProfessional and personable – Respectful, courteous, and able to build rapport with store staffComfortable with tech – Confident troubleshooting tablets, power, and connectivity issuesRequirementsMust be able to work as a W-2 employee (this is not a contractor or 1099 role)Previous experience with on-site technical troubleshooting of digital devices (e.g., tablets, screens, kiosks, POS hardware, or similar technology)Reliable access to a car and smartphone (used for audits and reporting)Structure & CompensationThis is a part-time, W-2 position with a $22/hour starting rate.
