Under limited guidance, this position directs a team of maintenance specialists, technicians, engineers, and contractors involved in power plant overhauls and maintenance. The individual in this position will lead internal and external resources to execute maintenance work with direct accountability for safety, environment, quality, schedule, and cost. The ideal candidate is expected to apply rigor, discipline, and focus in following standardized processes and procedures, while continuously applying a lean and quality improvement mindset to improve the process. Preferred candidates will have a strong technical knowledge of power plant equipment and are skilled in understanding and resolving technical issues, including for unplanned scope.<br><br>The individual in this role will work closely with other Supervisors and Contract Coordinators to develop and implement complex plans for execution of work scope. Industrial experience within <strong>Electrical and I&C is strongly preferred</strong>.<br><br>This position will be based at our Plant Turkey Point (Fossil) in Florida City, FL, and will travel to support the fleet. Possible night shift coverage for outages may be required. Up to 75% travel is expected for this position.<br><br><strong>Job Overview<br><br></strong>Employees in this job direct a team of maintenance specialists, technicians, engineers, and contractors involved in major maintenance activities or plant maintenance.
