This is a field-based, customer-facing role that works closely with and reports to the Market Manager to bring ALSO to life through mobile demos, retail experiences, and community activations. You’ll be on the front lines—introducing customers to our vehicles, delivering exceptional experiences, and helping build the foundation of ALSO’s presence in Los Angeles.<br><br>This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, people-oriented, and excited to be part of an early-stage brand with room to grow.<br><br><strong>What You Will Do<br><br></strong><strong>Customer Experience & Sales Support<br><br></strong><ul><li>Deliver engaging, high-quality customer experiences in both mobile and fixed retail environments.</li><li>Educate customers on ALSO vehicles, features, and benefits, guiding them through demo rides and early purchase consideration.</li><li>Support local sales goals by converting interest into qualified leads and sales.</li><li>Share customer feedback and insights with the Market Manager to improve execution and experiences.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Mobile Demo & Event Support<br><br></strong><ul><li>Assist with the setup, execution, and breakdown of mobile demo experiences and local activation events, including driving the custom Rivian EV van to/from events.</li><li>Safely operate and maintain the local demo fleet, ensuring vehicles are clean, charged, and customer-ready.</li><li>Represent ALSO at community events, pop-ups, and partner activations.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Retail Store Operations (in applicable markets, over time)<br><br></strong><ul><li>Support daily retail hub operations, including opening and closing procedures, merchandising, and general upkeep.</li><li>Deliver best-in-class customer service and demonstrate active selling skills.</li><li>Help create a welcoming, on-brand environment that reflects ALSO’s premium and playful ethos.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Operational Support<br><br></strong><ul><li>Follow operational, safety, and compliance processes as directed by the Market Manager and/or Market Coordinator.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What You Will Bring<br><br></strong><ul><li>1+ years of experience in retail, events, sales, hospitality, brand ambassador, or customer-facing roles.</li><li>A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed - you actively engage in your professional development.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills—you enjoy talking to people, telling a compelling story, and actively selling products and services.</li><li>Ability to work in a dynamic, field-based environment, including weekends and events - you have a flexible work style and enjoy variety in your work schedule.</li><li>Interest in cycling, electric vehicles and/or innovative consumer brands - your enthusiasm for our brand is infectious!</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively while also taking direction and feedback well - you are a charismatic and fun team player!</li><li>A strong connection to, knowledge of and comfort riding a bike in Los Angeles is a plus!<br><br></li></ul>Qualify as an authorized driver, meaning you are at least 21 years of age, have a valid U.S. driver’s license with a minimum of three (3) years of licensed driving experience, and can successfully complete a background screening and motor vehicle review - because you’ll be driving our demo van and fleet of bikes to meet customers where they like to ride!<br><br><strong>This is a non-exempt, hourly position eligible for overtime pay in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act and applicable state law.<br><br></strong>Employees scheduled to work <strong>30 hours or more per week</strong> are eligible for ALSO’s benefits package.<br><br><strong>Why ALSO.<br><br></strong>We’re passionate about helping the world find a better way to get there—wherever it is you’re headed.<br><br>We’re located in the heart of Silicon Valley and have brought together a world-class team from some of the biggest brands in the technology, automotive, cycling, outdoor recreation and retail spaces.<br><br>Together we’re working hands-on to imagine, design and build an entirely new solution to a global set of transportation challenges.<br><br><strong>Perks And Benefits<br><br></strong><ul><li>Robust health coverage.
